The Golden Horn Bay Trio: Worship, Tourism, and History

On a high hill overlooking the city of Istanbul, the trio of the Golden Horn Bay gathers in the Eyup Sultan area of the ancient mosque, which includes the tomb of the great companion "Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari", the "Pierre Loti" hill, and the cable car to represent an ideal destination for residents and tourists to worship and enjoy alike.
Eyup Sultan Mosque:
It is the first mosque built by the Ottomans in Istanbul in 1458, after the conquest of Constantinople (Istanbul) in 1453 AD. Munawara.

In appreciation and love for the great Companion, the Turks called him “Sultan Ayyub,” and then the area in which the mosque is located was named after his name.
The hill of Pierre Loti:
You can reach it from Sultan Eyup by cable car, and from it you can see most parts of Istanbul and its famous seven peaks located within the walls of the old city and overlooking the hill, which is "Sarayburnu", on which is located the "Topkapi Palace", and "Chamberlin Tash", And "Sulaymaniyah", "Al-Fateh", "Yavuz Selim", "Edirnekabi", and "Koja Mustafa Pasha".
The name of the hill "Pierre Loti" goes back to the French writer Louis Marie Julien Void, who was nicknamed "Pierre Loti", who lived in Istanbul for a period at the end of the nineteenth century, the late rule of the Ottoman Empire.
It was known for its permanent presence in one of the hill cafes, and from the top of the hill, you can see some large historical mosques such as Sultan Ahmed Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Sulaymaniyah, and the New Mosque.
In addition to the extension of Istanbul, the Bosphorus, the ancient Galata Tower, and the Golden Horn Bay.
Cable car:
It was established by the Istanbul Municipality, "Piara Loti" cable car on November 30, 2005, and its length is only 384 meters, as it is characterized by its short path and speed of access to the hill with a height of 55 meters, as it arrives within two and a half minutes, and it carries about 3,500 tourists daily and departs every 5 minutes. Boarding it by means of the regular transportation card for public transportation in Istanbul "Istanbul Card".
