It is divided into:
The M1 metro line connects Yenikapi station with Ataturk International Airport station: which is currently the longest metro line in Istanbul and includes 18 stations on the main line in addition to 5 other stations on the branch line, the most famous of which are Aksaray and Fatih
The M2 metro line connects Yenikapi and Haji Othman: it is famous for being the Taksim line as it passes through many high-end tourist areas in the heart of the city, and includes 16 stations, the most famous of which are Taksim and Sisli
The M3 metro line connects the Kirazli and Olympia stations: it extends for 11 stations, starting in Kirazli to Basaksehir, and its most famous station is the Olympiad station, which connects to Ataturk International Stadium.
The M4 metro line connecting Kadikoy and Tushantepe: It extends on the Asian side of Istanbul and contains 19 stations. Its importance will increase after the completion of the new line under construction, which will connect it with Sabiha International Airport.
M5 metro line: It is known as the Marmaray metro, and it is the metro line that extends through the Bosphorus Strait from under the water to connect European and Asian Istanbul.
The M6 metro line connects Levent and Boğazı University: the shortest metro line in Istanbul and currently includes only 4 stations, the most important of which is the Levent station, which represents an intersection point with the M2 line.
There are 5 other metro lines still under construction that have not been fully completed, namely:
Basaksehir - Kayaşehir Başakşehir - Kayaşehir
Kirazlı-Halkalı
Kaynarca - Pendik
Çekmeköy - Sultanbeyli
Umraniye - Göztepe


metrobus line:
The Metrobus line extends longitudinally in the form of a road designated for buses along one of the most important main roads of Istanbul, which is the E5 road, which extends from Beylikduzu on the European side of Istanbul to Kadikoy on the Asian side. Metrobus lines differ according to the starting and ending stations, but they all share the same single line, which provides fast transportation without being affected by the traffic congestion that Istanbul is famous for, and the total number of Metrobus stations is 44, and only 6 of which are on the Asian side and the rest are on the European side.

Tramway lines:
It has its itinerary like the subway, but it differs from it in that it runs above the ground like the Metrobus, and differs from the latter in that it passes through the center of the inner city neighborhoods and therefore can stand at traffic lights, and is considered the ideal means of transportation in historical tourist areas such as Hagia Sophia and Sultan Ayoub And others, it also includes 4 different fonts, namely:
T1: It connects Bağcılar and Kbataş, which is the longest tram line with 31 stations.
T2: It connects Taksim with Şişhane
T3: It connects Kadıköy and Moda
T4: It connects Habibler and Topkapı


Buses:
Bus routes in Istanbul vary according to the region and are characterized by their abundance to cover all residential neighborhoods and connect between the various areas of the big city, but they certainly will not enable you to escape from the congestion at peak times.

Mini Buses (Dolmish):
They are minibusses whose main lines run between the side streets and along all residential neighborhoods, and they usually have a small route that helps movement from the main roads to the sub-areas within each residential neighborhood.

 

Water ferries:
Water ferries are considered the most popular means of transportation between the European and Asian sides, in addition to being an important tourist destination, as it represents an enjoyable transport trip in the middle of the water and among seagulls. There are also several lines for it, but the most famous starting point for it is the famous Eminonu area on the European side, and it also transfers to some The stations and regions are also on the European side, the most famous of which is Karakoy and Galata Tower.

taxi:
Certainly, it is the most expensive means of transportation in Istanbul. It is distinguished by its yellow color in addition to turquoise. Several applications help you request a taxi established by the Turkish government.
