102 thousand 656 houses were sold across Türkiye in September
 
House sales across Turkey decreased by 9.5% in September compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 102 thousand 656. Istanbul had the highest share in housing sales with 15 thousand 247 house sales and 14.9%. According to sales numbers, Istanbul was followed by Ankara with 9 thousand 48 house sales and an 8.8% share, and Izmir with 5 thousand 476 house sales and a 5.3% share. The provinces with the lowest number of house sales were Ardahan with 47 houses, Hakkari with 55 houses, and Bayburt with 77 houses.

Housing sales decreased by 14.9% in the January-September period compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 900 thousand 74.
The number of first-hand house sales was 30 thousand 488
 
The number of first-hand house sales across Turkey decreased by 15.2% in September compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 30 thousand 488. The share of first-hand house sales in total house sales was 29.7%. First-hand house sales decreased by 13.9% in the January-September period compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 268 thousand 597.  
Second-hand house sales across Turkey decreased by 6.8% in September compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 72 thousand 168. The share of second-hand house sales in total house sales was 70.3%. Second-hand house sales decreased by 15.2% in the January-September period compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 631 thousand 477.


2 thousand 930 houses were sold to foreigners in September

 
Housing sales to foreigners decreased by 42.0% in September compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 2 thousand 930. The share of housing sales to foreigners in total housing sales in September was 2.9%. Antalya took the first place in housing sales to foreigners with 1,070 house sales. Antalya was followed by Istanbul with 978 house sales and Mersin with 211 house sales.
House sales to foreigners decreased by 43.5% in the January-September period compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 28 thousand 64.

According to country nationalities, the most house sales were made to Russian Federation citizens

. In September, Russian Federation citizens bought 722 houses from Turkey. Citizens of the Russian Federation were followed by citizens of Iran with 327 houses, Iraq with 191 houses and Germany with 148 houses, respectively.
